Pieces of the Puzzle

I had someone tell me one time that if you put your hand into a bucket of water and then pulled it out that the water would fill in the hole where your hand was. Their point was to let me know how important I was. If I was important, then the hole would be left in the water when I pulled my hand out. This analogy was used in trying to let me know how important I was to the people I worked for.

Another very intelligent individual had told me later in time that every person has a significant role in life. Every thing that we do has an impact on someone and we do not know who we may impact by our actions.

Some of us may smile and/or help out the next president, the next Sally Ride, the next hero, but we just do not know that.

What we need to remember is that we have a purpose in life or we would not be here. No matter how trivial we think our actions are, or how insignificant we feel about what we do, that simple action may have a significant impact on mankind.

So the next time that you have an impression that you should do something, by all means do it. A higher authority is pushing your hand and your heart. If you don't do what you are thinking about, won't you wonder what difference it may have made if you did it?

God Bless you all, and remember, we are all pieces of the "master plan".
